Another photoshop whoring. The indiviual pictures werent created by me [credits: Devian Art]. I simply blend the pcitures together into the background which I've created. It wasnt good blending, but I was just fooling around since I've nth better to do.

Went a little crazy with photoshop recently. Downloaded new brushes, experimenting with photo manipulation etc. Some may have seen the little manipulation I did before I deleted the post. Well, I deleted it coz I just feel like doing it, kinda to vent my feelings and all. Anyway, that picture's not one which I've taken personally with Jay [I wish!], nor one which involve me standing next to some poster n pretending to be part of it or something...

Itz simply 2 different pictures combined together, add a little touch of photoshop and you get one complete fake pic. Actually itz not a little touch of photoshop, itz a pretty heavy touch, to the extent that I look kinda weird. Oh well.

What is seen above is the original picture, before I did all sorts of funny stuff to it.

The next thing I needed was a Jay pciture taken with another girl, so I just took one that I've in my collection - him with Patty.

Armed with this picture and my own, I started cutting out Patty's head and cutting out my own head. With the eraser tool, I erased away her head and put mine there. =D What goes on next is to adjust the colour settings of both my input head and the background [Jay, his flowery shirt, the background, Patty's body etc. ] so that it looks blended in like one real picture. And the result:

Jay giving me flowers! muahaha.

As mentioned earlier, I downloaded some new brushes from photoshop. With these new brushes, I kinda created different background and blending in the same picture to see the effects. Pretty amateur stuff but I do like the final outcome.

Swirl brushes and a black background created this:

Alchemy brushes with the same black background, same old face of mine created this:

Retro brushes, swirl brushes, same old face, same old background and I get this:

I know, all these pictures probably look the same to you but hey, at least they've different backgrounds. Hee.

Ok, enough about photoshop. Today was Clarissa's bdae celebration [technically it should be ystd coz itz 3.12am now] and the group of us met @ orchard. There's no photos coz my Panasonic Fx9 isn't with me yet. Anyway, 2 freaking irritating incidents happened to me.

1) We went Far East and I saw this brown dress [which I bought at the original price of $79] on sale at a freaking low price of $19!!!!! I paid a bloody $60 extra for the very same dress! Grrrr...

Ok fine.

I told myself since they're having this super sale inside, I might as well look around to see if there's anything worth buying. So I found myself a black tube top and bought it happily, for $19 too.

Predictably, I have to go and misplace my paper bag at god knows where and now I don't even have my tube top. Sigh, looks like there's a reason why many called me blur. I resigned myself to fate - I'm blur. =(

Whew, this is one long post, long time since I wrote so much.

Zzzzz....

I'm gonna sleep, lots of errands to run tmr.

Isn't it nice to be a well loved dog? No worries, u only need to bounce around and allow people to pat u on the head. Life's so much simpler. Anyway Kiki [above] is such an adorable dog, he's so small that when he scampers around itz like seeing a ball of white fur rolling around =)

3.32am. Most ppl are snoring in their bed by now. Itz just me and the laptop.

Clock tickling, fan whirling, an occasional car rolling past.

Sometimes, I just feel like a failure.

Why the weakness?

There's so much to say, yet I don't know where to begin.

I'm gonna delete the previous post, itz trash.

Shit u.

I was refering to the person who started this bulletin, not those who re-posted it.

Last night was hell.

Insomnia. Tossing in bed for 2 hrs before falling into a fragmented sleep.

Nauseous.

Feverish.

This sucks.

Hopefully it'll be better today. I leave it to panadol to do its job.

My reverie

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

My butterflies look as though they're twitching. But I'm too lazy to alter it. Hee. If you're wondering where am I, I would be inside the little cottage, sipping my tea and eating my nougats while glancing out at my pig, cows n sheeps. =) There guru, I give you one of my sheeps. Take your pick - you can have the sleepy looking one or the fat one. Hehe.

Why must everything be so freaking competitive?

Do we exist on this earth merely for the sake of aiming for the throats of each other at all times?

Why can't ppl just stop in their tracks and learn to appreciate life as it is?

Can we only rest in peace after knowing we've claimed the top position?

Schemes. Shams. Manipulation. Deceit. Facade.

All in a package.

Blinded by our thirst, we seek to destroy & seek to win everyone in sight. Yah go ahead, lets destroy everybody and live in solitude. Lets rejoice once we manage to eliminate our fellow homo sapiens.

Sometimes, I have an overwhelming urge to move to some countryside where I can milk cows everyday and pluck apples from the trees.

I certainly hate this place.

Totally irrelevant, I know.

Dream
I had a nightmare. I was chased after by a group of vampires & had to escape in a truck.

If this was real, my present wish would be for the vampires to eat me up. Swallow me and get me away from this abhorrent world.

A little more sensitive, the world could be a better place.

A little less foolish, pain could be averted.

A little more freedom, feelings could be better vent.

What a few might deem of as an asset may become a source of inferiority.

I didn't know there was that much knowledge to washing clothes in a washing machine. I thought the entire idea was to dump the clothes in and press the WASH button. But NO.

1) Have to seperate the clothes by their colour.

2) There are some which needs to be put in this little cloth bag to prevent the washing machine from tearing it apart.

3) Some u can just spin it completely, others u spin only 2 times, a few exceptions u can't spin it at all.

4) There's a need to wash the clothes for 3 times, not just once.

Sigh.

Underworld evolution is very nice, more action pack than the first one. Azhar, if u're wondering, itz worth watching. But go watch part one first. Hee.

I would say something really impressed me last night. If I've 3 thumbs I would give you 3 thumbs up kevin. =D

Oh and i change a new chatterbox. Since my old one always screw up.

I tried tanning today. I really tried.

Armed with sun tanning oil, my book, mp3 and hp, I dumped myself into one of those plastic chairs beside the pool. Right under the sun.

After a while, I could feel the sun biting into my skin. Beads of perspiration decided to appear and run their way down my face. My skin continues to burn and when I looked down, my legs and arms were as red as a cooked lobster.

Itz a good thing the reddish tinge has now fade away, leaving my skin as fair as it was initially.

Oh well, this may be a failed attempt but I know I'll be able to do it. Someday. Somehow.

When I was in primary school, ppl often thought I was just a kindergarden kid. That was justified since I was shorter than the metre rule. I remembered my english teacher would often hold the rule next to me and point out that I was shorter than it. He even bragged to me how easily he could put me in his pocket.

In secondary school I was often mistaken as a primary school kid. It doesn't help that I was still very short and barely weigh above 30kg in sec 1 and 2.

Right now, at the age of 18, I no longer have ppl telling me I look like a secondary school kid. No, instead I have a friend's friend saying I look like 28, I have a teacher asking if I'm a parent when I return back to school to take my results and people are constantly saying I look like I'm in my 20s.

Do I look that old?!

The last time I checked I've no wrinkles, no white hair whatsoever. Grrrr.

I am EIGHTEEN people! Not TWENTY EIGHT!!!! N definitely NOT a PARENT!

Oh well.

At least I don't look like I'm an overgrown 12 years old. Wahaha. Right chiu yan?

Just a little thought, I've made up my mind to tan myself. I'll leave it to heaven to decide whether anot I'll succeed.

After days of fretting, the results are out. True, to some my results are far from good, but I'm happy as long as they can get me to SMU. =D. Guru, told you the A1 was yours! So proud of you, hee. Tmr's the last day of work, i'll miss it. =(.
