Last official day at work
14th July - My last official day at recruit express.
Greatest things about this job:
1) Absolutely great colleagues
2) Wacking near distance from my house
3) Sense of satisfaction when you find a job for someone
4) Shows you what the real society is like
5) As time goes by, you'll learn how to scrutinize ppl and know if they're good or if they are some sh*tty candidates
Crummy parts of the job:
1) Anger you get from having the misfortune to meet people who are born with absolutely no sense of responsibility whatsoever.
2) Crappy people who are looking for a job and yet refuse to answer their phone.
3) Arrogant beings who think that they're so great that everybody is offering them a job.
4) People who goes MIA in the midst of a job. [Refer to point 1]
5) Absolutely ridiculous reasons for not going work like "Sorry but I've no money to take a bus and hence I can't go to work" [I don't blame you if you go like WTH?]
Minus the crappy people I met, this job is still by far the greatest. I've to say it certainly aids alot in helping me gain maturity and learning to speak with people. Ok enough said, shall bring on some visual memories now.

My very messy desk.

My lucky ashley-the-runaway pig.

With dear Roanna.

Girls power!

Posing with Terrania.

With Bryan. He insisted on posing next to the vase of flowers. Lol.

Smiley pictures are too boring. Posing with a funny face makes it better.

With Pearly, and an extra bryan behind.

Lovely flowers from Evelyn.

Wonderful people :)
The following pictures aren't taken in the office, they're instead self-taken by a narcissistic me. =X

Orientation camp next week. New friends and a new phase of life. Nothing beats true old friends thou. :)

I think there's something wrong with my laptop, I seemed to be the only one who's able to see the slideshow I've uploaded in my previous post. If that's the case, I shall just upload a few pictures from the slideshow - for the fun of it!

Problematic slideshows aside, I was just mulling over my new phase of journey that I'm about to embark on. Itz been like 7 months after the 'A's, 7 months of working in society and having a taste of adulthood - something that piqued my curiosity since young. Till now I've held 3 jobs - the first @ Hilton Hotel, followed by UBS [Union bank of Switzerland] and currently at Recruite Express. I would say Hilton was the most tiring, UBS the most brainless and slackiest while Recruit Express is the most challenging. Each has their own pros and cons, I've enjoyed and dreaded each, but right now there's just this urge to hit the books.
University would be a new chapter of my life story. Since I'm gonna be the author directing my own life story, I'm going to have to make this chapter one that is worthwhile. With every new chapter comes new characters, but there are just some special characters - right from the old chapters, who will continue to weave a beautiful story with you. These special friends appear not just in happy stories, they stand by you in disheartening times. Perhaps the mere presence of their characters make my story one that is worthwhile to read.
To my group of extraordinary friends, a heartfelt thanks for everything.
Sidetracking, I always seem to blog in the middle of the night, there's just something magical in which the silence of the night holds.
Okie, enough words for now. Pictures time!

We met this cute lil' boy @ Esplanade who goes around taking pictures of others. Caught him in action!

Revenge! He took us so we took him. *Hee

He's a naughty lil' pie.
P.S. Amanda, let me answer your Q here - coz itz too long for me to type in the taggie, hee! I'm using photoshop for all my collages. What I do is to create one large canvas first and drag individual pictures into this main canvas. If there's a need to, I might just rotate the pictures to give a nice visual effect. All the colourful background you see in the large canvas is actually created by photoshop brushes. I put captions over the pictures as the last decorative purpose. Itz all kinda trial n error so you gotta try it out yourself, there's no fix way to doing it. =) Hope this answers your question. As for the webbie I gave you, itz actually for the slideshow which nobody could see. Haha!

I love being blissfully silly with the peeps I love. :))
Our kbox outing was as usual... Silly, fun, and absolutely crazy!
Since we took so many pictures and I'm lazy to make them all into collage, I shall do a lil' cheat & put it on a slideshow. Heh.
Took the useful slideshow webbie from Dawn Yang's xanga site.
Ok now for the manually created photoshop collage... [The pictures after kbox]

Friday night was spent with my guru @ Orchard.
Anyway the following pictures are all lazily photoshop-ed. Itz like 4 am in the morning now so my brain's half asleep. Which means I'm too lazy to think of nice designs for the pics.

Done!
Bedtime! Night!
P.S. Guru, florine & yan, I shall upload all the pictures to my shutterfly account tmr yeah. Too sleepy now. Hee. Love you guys!
