This year's reunion dinner was rather special,
instead of our usual steamboat,
we had it at Urban East restaurant @ Esplanade.
It was a 10 dish course,
similar to those wedding dinner kind.
Some dishes were nice,
some were not.
Regardless of that,
what was nice about it was the gathering of all,
getting together with all my cousins,
fun and laughter and just..
family warmth.

I took a shot of my mum in her traditional cheong sum,
so to make it even better,
I applied some photoshop skills,
and gave the picture a very 60s feel.
My cousin says it looks like the cover of some mooncake box.





My brother came with this weird hairstyle,
that makes him looks like Sonic the hedgehog.
He said it was for the GL (guai l**) hairstyle day,
that he and his friends made up.
Young boys these days have weird ideas.
He told me to take a photo of his side profile,
so as to show his porcupine-looking hair.
Since I was already editing photos for this post,
I took some time to edit his side profile,
and gave him a Apple Ipod poster look.
Took me quite awhile to manipulate it,
especially since he's not holding on to any Ipod but just some postcards.
I quite like the end result =]





We had 3 tables altogether,
and all the cousins,
or the youngest generation,
took up 2 tables.





The waitresses were all wearing this tribal-like hair ring,
and since everyone just love my dad's hairless head,
they made him wear it to see how he looks like.
And they were pretty amused by it.
Lol.



After dinner it was off to my uncle's place to play our yearly tradition -
Lunar New Year gambling.
I'm happy to say I won quite some money.
And had continued winning today.
Whee...
Hehe.
Love the feel of seeing your money stack higher and higher.

Today didn't end very well,
misunderstandings lead to bigger things.
And when miscommunication occurs,
both party gets hurt.
It just takes a little calm thinking to realize,
how both may not be at fault,
but words can snowball to such an extent,
that we end up getting upset with each other.

Whatever it is,
Lunar New Year is still suppose to be a festive season.
It is not a good start to a year to feel upset,
so dear friends,
